What is SaveMedia?

SaveMedia.org is a free online tool that helps you download publicly available videos, Reels, photos and audio from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest for offline viewing.

Is SaveMedia free?

Yes. SaveMedia is free and does not require registration or software installation.

Do I need to install software?

No. Everything works directly in your web browser.

Which devices are supported?

SaveMedia works on Windows PCs, Macs, Android phones, iPhones, tablets and Chromebooks.

Which browsers work?

Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera and other modern browsers.

Is there a download limit?

There is no daily cap, but to keep the service fast for everyone we apply a fair-use rate limit per minute. If you see a "too many requests" message, wait a minute and try again.

Can I download private videos, Stories or Highlights?

No. SaveMedia only works with public posts. Private content, Stories and Highlights are not supported.

Is my information stored?

You do not need an account. Please read our Privacy Policy for how technical data such as IP addresses is handled.

Is SaveMedia secure?

SaveMedia uses HTTPS and never asks for your social media login. Do not enter your passwords on any downloader website.

Why isn't a download working?

The link may be private, deleted, region-restricted or not a direct post link. Copy the link again from the Share menu, make sure the post is public, and try again in a minute.
